Helen Hochstrasser

EDUCATION

In 2021, Helen received a Master of Science in Engineering Science from the KU Leuven. Her specialisation was electrical engineering.

– Drafting, filing and prosecuting Belgian and European patent applications

– Advising on patentability and freedom-to-operate

– Advising on strategic decisions regarding IP-portfolio

– General legal advice in IP matters

COMPETENCES

During her university studies, Helen has gathered knowledge on the following topics: audio, speech processing, artificial intelligence, system modelling, telecommunication, digital and analog circuitries and cryptography. In particular, she has discovered a true passion for digital signal processing.

LANGUAGES

Helen was raised trilingual. She learned Dutch in school, while at home, she learned German and Spanish. Further, Helen is skilled in English and she also has a substantial knowledge of French.
